Warrego Highway – Mount Crosby Interchange

The Warrego Highway interchange at Mount Crosby Road has long been an area of major congestion and increased traffic incidents. To improve safety and identified as an area of major congestion and has a reported high rate of traffic incidents. Two proposals were presented for community feedback, to alleviate congestion and improve safety for the interchange.

The preferred design features:

  • A new interchange at Moggill Pocket Arterial, connected to Mount Crosby Road.
  • A new dual-lane bridge with connection to Karalee and a signalised intersection on Junction Road.
  • Active transport paths along the Southern service road; and
  • Upgrades to Mount Crosby Road.
