Muriel Henchman Park Improvements

Muriel Henchman Park is a popular access point to the Gold Coast Broadwater and Seaway for the community and commercial organisations. The Gold Coast Waterways Authority have begun construction of the Spit Master Plan Construction, with expected completion in mid-2024 offering a total of six boat ramp lanes (two boat ramps), an upgraded pontoon, a new floating walkway on the northern boat ramp, 160 trailer parks, 144 car parks, 6 car parks for people with disabilities, line marking, pathways, landscaping, public toilets, and a shade shelter.  Photo sourced from the Gold Coast Waterways Authority.

Scope

The Muriel Henchman Park Improvement project is part of the Spit Master Plan for the Gold Coast Waterways Authority.
Project scope included:
  • Two boat ramps
  • Marine works for an upgraded pontoon structure and marine piles
  • A new floating walkway on the northern boat ramp
  • New carpark for  160 trailer parks, 144 cars and 6 car parks for people with disabilities

Service Provided

Civil Project Partners were engaged to provide support to Ertech with a Senior Cost Estimator working within their tender team. We were also tasked with re-measuring items.
