Marine Stadium Jetty and Pontoon
Civil Project Partners was engaged to perform cost estimating functions for the construction tender of the Marine Stadium Jetty and Pontoon Project as part of implementation of The Gold Coast Spit Master Plan.
Currently under construction with an estimated completion of December 2022, the project is located in a parkland of regional significance, providing access to the ocean and The Broadwater, a pontoon will be constructed in Marine Stadium for use by passenger ferries, recreational, commercial, and emergency vessels.

Scope
The jetty will provide a unique leisure experience with views over the Broadwater to the Surfers Paradise skyline. Major works include:
- Over 60m of jetty, ~4 meters width with rest area, pontoon gangway and fixed walkway
- 7 spans of precast deck planks
- Steel piles with precast headstocks
- Over 150m of stainless steel balustrades
- Entry plaza with soft and hardscaping
- ~60 tonne of pontoon
Works to be constructed with barge on water and onshore methods.
Service Provided
CPP provided pre-contracts support with competitive tendering of works using first principles and subcontractor pricing. Logistics involved international freight of materials to site.
